OBJECTIVES
In an environment of harmony, equality and respect, and by means of cooperative challenges, adventures and experience fostering coexistence, cooperation and brotherhood:
Scouts will be able to overcome the barrier of differing cultures, creeds and ideologies and realize the value of peace and unity.
Scouts will be able to understand the importance of balancing development and ecology; and
Scouts will learn and enhance skills in unit activities through active involvement in skills development for a better world.

JAMBOREE SITE
Philippine Scouting Center for Asia-Pacific Region, Mt. Makiling, Los BaƱos, Laguna, Philippines.
The camp sits on the slope a thousand meters above sea level and located 65 kms. southeast of the City of Manila, the capital of the Philippines.


WHO MAY JOIN?
Scouts, Scout Leaders, Staff and Guests

Eligibility of Participants
Scout: Registered member
Must be 12 or not over 17 years of age
Scouter/Leader : Registered member
Ratio (Scouts: Leader) – 9 Scouts: 1 Leader

JAMBOREE FEE
Registration fee for overseas participants is US$200.00 per person covering meals at the duration of the Jamboree, participation in Jamboree programs and activities, insurance coverage, transportation from Manila airport to Jamboree site and back, use of tents, eating and cooking utensils.

CONTINGENT ORGANIZATION
Young people are organized into a Patrol of nine young people with an adult leader for each Patrol (9+1). The Troop is organized into four Patrols - 36 young people and 4 unit leaders, making a total of 40 persons in one Troop. Furthermore, one contingent staff is allowed for every Troop. If the contingent is less than one Troop, it is still entitled to one contingent staff. Adults attending the Jamboree as International Service Team and those requested by the Jamboree Organizing Committee to organize workshops at the Global Development Village are not part of the Troop.



INTERNATIONAL SERVICE TEAM
The Jamboree will have a total of over 1000 Scout Leaders working on the International Service Team (IST). Interested and qualified Scout Leaders are welcome to be part of the IST. A registration fee of US $200.00 shall be charged each member to cover the cost of meals, use of tents, souvenir items and other issuances, and transportation from the airport to camp and back.
